Aithne's Plottage

[Aithne Bannorn]

Aithne is a right bubbly ball of sunshine when she is around others. By herself she suffers a bit from depression, but she theorizes that it is just the amount of energy she puts into being happy that drains her so much. She hides between smiles, bounces, dances and general immaturity. If you are the down-in-dumps type, she's probably about to aggravate the crap outta you. Because darned if she isn't going to get in your face/in your lap/on your back/clinging to your arm in an attempt to "cheer you up". She is in highschool, so you're very likely to meet her there. She's also the type to go out on the town going out of her way to appear like a normal teenage girl. As such, she's likely to run into all sorts of people. She's not against making friends of people much younger or much older than her, so even small children and adults might make her list of cool people to chill with.

Aithne is rather likely to have a WHOLE LOT of people she calls friends. She loves surrounding herself with people. The amount of energy they give off makes her feel more energized, which keeps her going through a long day. Of course, the real truth is that Aithne will actually only have a small, small group of people she considers 'true friends'. People she would go to for anything. Not that anyone else would know. She'd never tell. What if she hurt someone's feelings?! Heaven forbid.

Aithne has, as of yet, never had one. But she is open to the idea. She doesn't care if you're a girl, boy, trans, white, black, green, tall, short, or old. She might care a little if you're younger. She does need someone a little more mature in her life to balance out her spaz-attacks, and she's well aware of it. And the idea of whining immaturity kinda irks her a bit. Giddy, sqwee-ing immaturity she thinks is fun, but if you whine all the dratted time, you are unlikely to make it here. She is the monogamous type, however could easily be influenced into some more wild lifestyles.

If you're here, it's probably your own doing. Either you yourself made it clear you have zero love of Aithne, or you hurt one of her friends. Or her Sugar Gliders. Se's not fond of those who hurt those she loves, but really, who is?

>_> So, it took me longer to get to posting here for you than I anticipated... but, here we go. LoL. Last night I was brain dead and, honestly, I'm still brain dead since I crashed ultra hard last night and only just woke up... so here's hoping this makes any sense at all.

You pinged Leann, but like I said in PM, I wanna hold off sending her Aithne's way until I'm sure who/what/how she is once the plot she's currently in finishes. It seems like every post in that plot changes what I think will actually happen, so that's why I'd like to see it through before offering her up for interaction. I imagine they would end up meeting at school, assuming Lee goes back to school, but what I'm thinking of doing is having her be a "transfer in" for her senior year, to whatever school the rest of the "properly age-ranged characters" - like Aithne and Alice - currently attend. Most cities have multiple schools, so I don't think it's too much of a stretch, and since the only other player/character Lee interacted with in a school setting vanished a long time ago, I think it'd be good to present it as a "new start." Of course, that means she's probably auto-disliked by most of the students, simply due to the sports and competition damage she was responsible for, once upon a time, in favor of her old school, AND the fact that she has no intentions of participating in anything extracurricular at the new one. She'd be a senior for the upcoming school year, and I'm suspecting she'll turn 18 fairly soon, too. ...I need to do an update post for her profile once her current plot is finished, to document all the changes.

As for my other two characters, it's a bit difficult to come up with a way for easy interaction between Cassidy and Aithne. There could certainly be a chance meeting, but the age difference and the fact that Cass is DNCS makes it odd. xD ... >_> I'm not so creative today, though, so if you do want an interaction there, feel free to toss ideas forward. With Miriam, there are quite a few different opportunities. Since Aithne is a healer, any sort of connection to or observation from the "Guardian" network would be of the protective type. Miri also has her nighttime vigilante hunts where an accidental meeting could occur. e_e She's also randomly visible at various places in the city by day, including the University campus, since she's attending there.

But... I leave it up to you for now, cuz I'm a zombie right now. LoL. I'll toss anything else I come up with in subsequent posts.
