THIRTEEN ✖ FEMALE✖ STRAIGHT ✖ MUTANT ✖Power/Ability Kinetikinesis-The user can manipulate kinetic energy, the energy created by any form of movement. Using this power, one would be able to transfer kinetic energy from one object to another, thus strengthening their attacks, or tearing holes in walls with a simple touch. Shina is terrible at controlling her power and doesn't do much with it except use it to move stuff with the kinetic energy around it. ✖ Personality Positive Traits Affectionate-Shina is very affectionate to people she is good friends with. Decisive-Shina always takes time to think things through before she does them. Energetic-Shina is very energetic at things she enjoys, and has a lot of stamina for that. Happy-Shina is very happy most of the time, and is always happy around people she knows. Intelligent-Shina is very intelligent and uses it as wisely as a twelve year-old girl can. Tolerant-Shina is very tolerant of people around her, and tries to keep herself from annoying them. Negative Childish-Shina is very childish and acts like a young kid a lot of the time when she is afraid. Embarrassing-Shina embarrases people she knows very much, to their dissaproval. Fidgety-Shina is fidgety around new people, and around some adults. Immature-Shina is very immature all the time, especially around her family. Naive-Shina is naive and thinks that everybody is nice and caring, even enemies of mutants. Whimsical-Shina is very unpredictable and believes in things that people tell her aren't real. ✖ History Shina was born in a house outside the city from two parents who both had the mutant gene but didn't know it. She then grew up peacefully unaware that she would become a mutant when she got older, and had two older brothers who were both mutants. When she was about ten she started to develop her abilities, and her family found out quickly. They realized that the DNCS might come after their family, her parents moved them to the coast to live a quiet life. Her family enjoys the quietness of the sea, and the DNCS doesn't even know that there is a group of three mutants out there. Shina has been living there undisturbed for quite a while. ✖ Example Shina ran along the beach whistling happily. "Mom, it's perfect!When can we move out here?" Shina said cheerfully. "Soon Shina, when we have everything figured out. It's for you and your brothers to enjoy." Shina's mom had done it to protect them from the DNCS, but she didn't want her kids to be afraid, so she kept ita secret from them. "Thank you thank you thank you," Shina replied happily. "Oh all right, I'll let you in on a secret, we're moving tomorrow. But don't tell your brothers, as it's our little secret." "Really?" Shina was excited now. "Yep." She ran in the water the relax and play in the waves, and tried to move the sand below her with her mind. Shina had a small sucess, in getting a handful size lump to move to the top. She got a headache after that and went back to her towel to nap. Hours later, Shina awoke to one of her brothers prodding her, to wake her up. "C'mon, get up. It's time to go." Shina opened her mouth to speak in protest, but was dragged by her brother off the towel towards the minivan. Once in the car, Shina felt the need to stick her tongue out at her brother as payback. "Who wants Chinese food?" Her dad asked to Shina and her brothers. "I do, I do!" All three of the kids were saying that in perfect harmony, and laughing hysterically. You have a lovely little lady here, but before I can accept you, there are a few things I need to ask: First off, I don't really understand her power from the way you explained it. So she can manipulate energy. I can see she can do a lot of things with this energy. From creating light, sound, heat, to draining it from others (since that's what I assume you meant by "stopping" it) to infusing it into herself (to sate thirst, appease hunger, etc). If I also understand this correctly, she can trasform all matter into energy, so technically, she can turn someone's head into energy she can use? First observation: You have to choose what she can do with this energy, so far there are too many uses, and potentially other uses that are not mentioned within the grand idea of the power. As such, you have to decide if she can use this power to drain energy from others + influse herself with stolen energy so that she doesn't need to eat/drink, or have the power to turn matter into energy and energy into matter (example: absorb the energy contained within an apple's matter and then use that energy to shape a different object of the same mass as the apple, or I suppose larger of she adds personal energy resource into it). Second observation: Turning energy into heat is one power. turning energy into light is one power. Turning energy into sound is one power. Not even counting the others mentioned above. So again, you'd need to pick one and detail its forms / limitations. (example: heat - I can see it as using her own energy to heat up a bucket of water, or place her hand on a radiator and absorb the heat and convert it into energy. Maybe she can even produce fire like this, using her own energy. The limitation would obviously be the depletion of her own energy, like, making a ton of fire would eventually wear her out like running a marathon). Observation three: In the case of turning matter into energy, should add a clause preventing her to turn people's heads into energy, maybe she just can't affect living creatures? Vegetation is fine. Questions: So what form of energy manipulation are we talking about? What are its precise effects? How are they limited? Does she need to touch things for the manipulation to happen or does she do it with her mind? If with mind, at what distance does it stop working? There's more because the power is really confusing. I'll wait to see your thoughts on the matter! Finally: We only allow characters aged 13 and older. So could you please add another year to her? Thank you and sorry this is an essay!
