Hey!
So I have a few ideas for threads.
First, I have a character that's stuck in an underground plot (There's an evil underground boss called Miguel Vesquez who has an entire arena where he pins mutants and humans alike against each other. He captures them from the streets and they end up fighting for his entertainment.) Kaien was captured and has been fighting and such in the arena, but I was thinking to have a brief escape thread with him.
Is there any chance your character would sense someone being pursued on the streets at night and be willing to open her apartment door to help him hide and not be dragged back to the arena? It could come to her in a dream too, a person being pursued and having no more energy to continue when he slumps down in her building's hallway right before his assailants catch up to him and drag him back in chains.
------------------
I'd love to place Eluard in danger too and it would be interesting if she came out of nowhere to warn him he's going to be assassinated. Eluard is an information dealer, surgeon and mutant with incredible memory. He has a secret hideout for mutants and he's constantly looking for more to help and link to his cause (he's trying to come up with a solution to dealing with the Government).
Feel free to have her know as much as you like via dreams about him, and maybe she could see he's trying to help mutants and is doing his best, while maintaining the mysterious underground image of "White Serpent." The thing is, he's supposed to meet with a contact one day and it's a trap that would lead to his assassination. Maybe she would drop by his apartment or come by at the hospital where he works to warn him about it?
--------------
You're welcome to any of my other characters as well: Oscar, Kara, Alice. If you have any interaction ideas.
Let me know if you find any of that worth a thread!

Oh my goodness, I love both plot ideas c:
Lyre would defiantly be open to letting Kaien into her apartment, especially since she would have been 'seeing' him in the arena fighting several times before leading up to the dream where he would be in her apartment building and getting captured. Seeing him escape like that and knowing that he probably would take any help he could get(and not freak out on her) she'd defiantly be willing to throw her head out for him. Anything to help those like her, or anyone in a situation like his for that matter.
_____
With Eluard she'd be hesitant to help him but defiantly would help a fellow mutant, but his power would be harder for her to understand during her dreams(Unlike someone with pyrokinesis or something obvious) but I can say that she's seen a few mutants who have gone to him looking for shelter in her dreams. Since Lyre's dreams don't always revolve around her and some times they revolve dramatic altering events(Mutants losing their shelter that he provides) Like I said she'd be hesitant, but if it meant saving him and a lot of mutants trouble she'd stick her head out and risk some ridicule.
_____
Either plot defiantly works, and I already have ideas on how to start both if you'd like me too, just let me know which one you want to start first! C:

Yay!
I'll start the one for Kaien with him ending up in her apartment building and you can start the one with her coming to Eluard's doorstep/workplace. : D If she comes to his home, he has two, but only one of them is his "real" home and he never lets anyone know about it and it would be fun if she came there (since that's where he is mostly when he's not at work or dealing with other business). It would make him worry that she knows about his family home haha. If you decide to take her to the hospital, asking for Dr. Verlaine would work. Edit: Also, mind that her power will stop working when Kaien gets within 20 feet of her, but she would have known in advance anyway.

Just chiming in - I figured I'd go ahead and facilitate that Kaien escape attempt in the current Lee/Kaien thread, Norbex! Let me know if there are any specifics you'd like to see. I'm... doubtful Lee would make in appearance in the actual Lyre/Kaien interaction, though. I suspect she won't be having a good time back underground once the escape is made known. xD However, she'll be going berserk and causing some damage at the hospital and part of the city once the Arena falls, so maybe Lyre could see that further down the road? Anyway, in terms of actual plot points for my characters, I noticed in Miss Maybridge's history that she's already got some "official" looking folks after her. Should that be assumed to be the DNCS? If so, Cassidy might recognize Lyre if she were to come across her. Good news for the mutant is... Cass is sympathetic (see her profile) despite working for the DNCS, and when she's "off-the-clock", she's not doing a damn thing that's work related. (See the thread between Cassidy and Erik Severin HERE if you like) And, on the other side of things, since Lyre's already been targeted by some "official" mutant hunting group, DNCS or not, there's a 99% chance that Miriam's "Guardian" organization is aware of her. I haven't yet figured out if Miri would deem Lyre "threatening" enough to be targeted, or "benign" enough to try and help her stay hidden. I imagine she might put off making that actual decision until they were to meet. Interviews are pretty strong, right? >_>;;;

In the current thread? I've got no idea how to make that happen with Lee there. I was thinking he would get an opportunity when another one of the "staff" gets executed and their clothes would be left behind and Kaien would be in better shape to make a run for it. He wouldn't really get anywhere in his state in the Lee/Kaien thread but incorporating his escape into what happens to Lee sounds fun! After one of Eluard's agents, or a symphatiser, whoever, lets him know there's an escape route through the staff/visitors restroom, through the sewers.

I just got another idea. How about we have MVs men eventually find Kaien and Lyre and drag them both back to the arena? Lyre's defensive premonitions won't help her with Kaien around (who nullifies powers) so it's plausible. That way we can drag Lyre into the underground plot right before the big boom end (when Eluard's preparations come into play and all chaos will ensue).
If you don't want Lyre to get caught at all and maybe suffer a little right before the whole ordeal comes to an end, nevermind that. But maybe we could even have a Kaien/Lee/Lyre thread down there.
P.S. Maybe you can say Lee was suspected to have helped Kaien escape even if she didn't know anything about it, Lazarus.

Yes, Lyre has had a run in with the DNCS before! But just briefly as she had escaped before they were even in her drive way. But her town was all so eager to tell them much about her so she may as well have met one or two in person.
I'm all for it if Lazarus doesn't mind me popping in on the thread as well. c:

Popping in? I don't see a popping in on anything ongoing. I figured Norbex was talking about a future thread, especially because - even though I haven't tried responding yet as of this writing - that the current Lee/Kaien thread is close to done. It would be a later one. So there's no "popping in", we're just going forward. ^_^
As for the DNCS stuff, like I said - or meant to imply - a meeting between Lyre and Cassidy would be complete chance. Just an accident that happens... I think. I don't currently know of anything that would put Cassidy in danger, at this moment, to spark a use of Lyre's powers. It would truly be a random encounter, but Cassidy would potentially recognize Lyre's picture, and probably offer an advisement about staying out of sight, or something along those lines.
Miri's more serious, though. The interview would be much more stressful, and she'd very much be trying to figure out "what Lyre was all about." Lyre might even expect her approach, whatever that may be. Black vans and all "ohmygod" type approach scenarios are very possible with that, but it could also be something "mundane", where Lyre sees it happen, but Miri takes it as an "advantage of the opportunity presented."

c:
Lyre works at a cafe, so if Cassidy ever popped into it Lyre would more than likely be working there at the time. Only if she doesn't have hostile intentions(Like her being on the job and seeking her out) then her premonitions wouldn't warn her of Cassidy's coming.
Miri on the other hand, coming in black vans would probably freak Lyre out. She tends to avoid vans like the ones she witnessed like the plague. Even without hostile intentions, she'll likely duck under the counter when she sees one. xD
