When the dawn breaks, it will be goodbye again
Dreams will become distant phantoms Whenever we embrace in the light that chased you "I'm telling you Mary its true!!" A barrage of comments rang back and forth from the back of the bakery as Yoi's voice continued to rise a hint of sarcasm in each word. "You idiot no they will not!" Mary yelled, rage filling her as the young man folded his arms and lifted his snooty nose upwards and laughed as her face turned scarlet red from his sarcastic comebacks. A hardened voice rung in the midst of there argument, "Enough you two and Mary to answer your question they have already confirmed they will stop making episodes for 'Guey Guey Poke'nom.' " The man stopped and looked towards Yoi and smiled brightly and soon after as the argument began to cease he mumbled under his breath, "Your stills such a kid Yoi, but your dad would have been proud.." Yoi sticking his tongue out towards tongue, " See what did I tell you, goofy girl!" He unfolded his arms and lifted up his eyebrow up and continued sticking his tongue out towards her, "Either way the main character always had that dumb rat creature they shot fire out of its mouth and it never evolved!" He lifted his arms in rage, "It never evolved!""You..You..dog!" Mary looked left and then right and before long she had her hands upon a hefty handful of flour and in desperation she threw the flour at Yoi's face. Yoi coughed as the flour settled in the air and his face and apron were covered in all white, "Thanks Mary I always wanted to look pale!" He posed elegantly, "Does the flour compliment my stunning features?Hmph Hmph.." It was after school and Alice was on her own again. She was supposed to go to the dentist for a routine check up but she was avoiding it. Ever since childhood, when her love for sweet led to incredibly extensive cavities, she’s been traumatized to return to the dentist’s cabinet. Although she no longer has problems with her teeth, she can’t help but dread to step into the building again. As such, instead of honoring her appointment, she was wandering around the streets, waiting for the hour to come and pass.
However, when she turned around a corner she came face to face with her mother. “Alice!” The woman looked red faced and out of breath. “I’ve been looking everywhere for you. Don’t you dream of avoiding your appointment again!”
Well, wasn’t this an unexpected development. Her mother reached out a hand to snatch her wrist but she reacted instinctively and dodged the attempt, taking a few steps back in the process. The older woman frowned. “Alice. Don’t be unreasonab-“ But the teenage girl was already running. She didn’t know what had possessed her to disappear in such haste, but she couldn’t stop or slow her pace. Although tired, her mother started in pursuit, thus making a scene of the whole thing. She yelled for the girl to stop all the way down the street. Alice’s only advantage was that she wasn’t exhausted.
The brunette swerved around a corner and dashed into the nearest bakery. There seemed to be no one at the counter so she dashed behind it, then past it, rushing straight into the “workplace” of the establishment. “Hide me! Hide me! Hide me!” She spoke to the ovens and cake batters, until she finally reached a group of people. “I’m sorry! Please let me hide here for a moment.” Her eyes fell on Yoi and she peered at him. He was covered in flour so it was hard to tell where she knew him from.
“You… I think I know you.” Her breath was rushed since she’d been running. Her school backpack was slung to one of her shoulders.

When the dawn breaks, it will be goodbye again
Dreams will become distant phantoms Whenever we embrace in the light that chased you "Mary and Tsuragi prepare the hiding spot!"Mary and Tsuragi each rushed towards the back break-room and opened the door for the young woman, "Seems like your gonna owe your gonna owe us big time!" The expression on Yoi's face yet clouded with flour was devious in nature as his hand gestures wiggled in delight as soon after he gave a menacing laugh. Mary and Tsuragi each knew what this meant they both peered at each other and nodded in disapproval, but they knew what the teen was playing and it was evil indeed. The young man turned his back and continued laughing menacingly like a deadly ghoul, " I...Yoi Saito..shall take over the world with my bread of DOOM"!A hint of pleasure ringing in delight, but to Mary and Tsuragi this was not unusual in the daily venture of having the boy as the owner of the shop even as a kid he had a animated personality that rung in delight. but comedic in nature. He had many friends, yet each other dreaded the maniacal laughter that ensued when the young man came up with a stinging idea and Yoi couldn't blame them if they every ran away in fear. Because deep in the rampart of there mind they knew the evil genius behind the apron was never to be trusted when he began wiggling his fingers in delight. "I wonder.."Yoi scratched his head readily pondering upon watching the woman disapeer into the break room. He was quite popular at school much less for owning a Bakery and more for his antics and less than sultry attitude in the classroom with the ladies. He motioned towards a sink and began washing his face before long a single bell rung as the door slammed open and Yoi raised his hand, "I got it Mary and Tsuragi!" Yoi took a dry rag and dried his face and hands and walked to the front counter, "Hello M'am and welcome to Luminance! He carried a highly delighted smile to have a customer, but as the older woman came to the counter she continued to exhale as if out of breath, "Have you seen my daughter? She has a school uniform and.." His mood swiftly changing as he turned towards the door to the kitchen and then at the lady, "No No No M'am sorry, but I have some killer pasteries! Free samples on the house!" He continued to keep his solemn smile, but deep within his corrupted heart he continued plotting his evil deeds he would use to destroy the young woman. “What?” Alice looked at where they were pointing as a door was hastily opened for her. “Oh okay. But I think just here is fine…” She didn’t have time to really protest because there seemed to be vigorous encouragement to go into the back-room in question, so she smiled to them and gave them a salute. “Thanks!” Walking inside the little room, she sighed with relief. At least her mother couldn’t possibly find her in here. It was sort of strange though, how easily they had allowed her in and how little they had protested to her being in a staff-only area as well. Alice gave a little shrug, grabbed the bottle of water in her backpack and listened.
Alice’s mother was out of breath. There was significant disappointment on her face when the baker said Alice hadn’t come this way and she waved a hand hastily at his offer, shaking her head. “Thank you, but no, I’m in a hurry.” And she was off, still looking for Alice, the door closing as she ran out of the establishment.
Inside the back room, Alice had her ear pressed against the door, struggling to hear the exchange. Judging by the sound of rushed footsteps that came and went, Alice could only assume it had been her mother. A moment passed and then two and then three more. She knocked on the back-room door. “May I come out now?” Her words were seeking approval as well as confirmation that her mother had indeed lost her trail.

When the dawn breaks, it will be goodbye again
Dreams will become distant phantoms Whenever we embrace in the light that chased you "Open the door.." Mary took a step forward and opened the door as the girl asked politely and as the door opened on the counter was set forth ten new dishes of cakes, sweets, bread, and jelly-filled treats. Yoi stood upon a bar stool behind the counter a devious smile upon his succulent lips and a look of menacing proportion could be read clear across his emerald green eyes as he stared towards the young lady. Mary stepping towards Yoi gave him a pinch on his arm, "Ouch, that hurt 'arse. " He rubbed the area on his arm in which she pinched dismissing his former facial expression for a grouchy expression and then turned his desolate gaze towards the girl, "Well..the name is Yoi Saito..and before I forget..a favor..for a favor.." He began laughing menacing and before long Mary pinched him again, "Stop it!! before you bruise me woman!" His british accent clearly in play as it phrase hinted his european origin. Mary began laughing herself at the childish pleas of Yoi and then looked towards the girl, "Names Mary & and the old guy standing in the back is Tsuragi!" Tsuragi merely waved and continued stirring batter. "Hey hey hey..I'm the owner here..I make the introductions around here!" Yoi held his hands out towards the food spread across the table and smiled, "Isn't your name Alice? I think your a grade ahead of me..well anyway time to get down to business..since we helped you I was wondering if you could taste test each one of these dishes..I made them before school today..and I was gonna make Tsuragi do it, but I could use a honest opinion for once.." Yoi looking towards Tsuragi and giving him a smirky look and then returned his hazy gaze towards Alice. "If you don't want to do this..well you can do the dishes today!!" Mary shot him a angered stare and gave a soft growl, " Never mind..just taste test please.."Yoi looking down a cold displeased stare of disappointment afterwards mumbling, "I didn't want to do the dishes today.." Alice exited the backroom with a sigh of relief. Her mother had lost her trail and she could now rest easy. There would be no dental appointments today. Instead, the opposite of dental care seemed probable – an invitation to encourage cavities waiting to happen. Yoi, the one she felt she remembered from somewhere, stared at her with glistening green eyes and she blinked, tilting her head.
The girl that worked there pinched him and Alice smiled for the display. They seemed close. “A favor?” She echoed, intrigued. The boy’s laughter had an odd quality to it, out of place in the general atmosphere. It gave Alice the creeps, although nothing else in the local bakery seemed to hint at anything sinister. She remembered to answer Yoi’s introduction when Mary offered her name as well. “A pleasure to meet you all, I’m Alice.” She smiled, lips threatening to part into a grin and eyes genuine of it.
Alice’s gaze moved to Yoi when he announced he owned the bakery. One of her eyebrows quirked. He looked too young to be a proprietor. Maybe he was looking after his family’s place, or something. When the boy gestured to the food, she felt her stomach clench with hunger. It had been a long day of school and she hadn’t had any lunch. Her mouth started watering. “You made all of this?” Her eyes were wide with anticipated deliciousness and she stepped forward, dropping her backpack to her feet.
With some disbelief, she looked to Yoi, her eyes a little wide. “You sure I can taste these? That’s not really a favor...” She smirked. “It would be my pleasure.” Her hands gripped onto the table’s edge and she stared at the goodies on it. At the “if not, do the dishes!” Alice laughed and waved a hand. “No thanks, I think I’m going to gorge myself instead.” She grinned and it was wide. She didn’t actually require the extra encouragement.
Alice took a small spoon from the table and eyed the cakes. “Do you want me to taste everything?” The question was aimed to be polite and make sure but she was already driving the spoon into soft lemon cake. She stuck a great chunk of it in her mouth and spoke through chews of it. “Mmmm... thus on’s rully goofd.” She swallowed, her cheeks pink with pleasure. “I mean it’s awesome!” She didn’t wait long before she was upon the next cake – this one chocolate. She tasted the sweet milky darkness and seemed to melt. After swallowing, she looked to Yoi. “This one’s even better!” She came upon a fruit cake next and took a sample of it. At the end, her expression was undecided. “Hmmm... this one could be better. I mean. There’s too much variety in here. I like fruit salad, but this one’s one fruit kind too many! I think it would taste better if you dropped the passion fruit and pineapple.”
And so, she continued tasting the sweets, bread and jelly treats until she just couldn’t take one more bite. Abandoning her spoon on a plate, she leant against the table with her side. “Thanks for the meal.” She grinned. “I’ll be your taster anytime.” She pointed at Yoi, closing one of her eyes. “I know you from school, don’t I? You’re that boy everyone says is nothing but trouble.” She peered at him and placed a hand on her hip. “Is that true?”

When the dawn breaks, it will be goodbye again
Dreams will become distant phantoms Whenever we embrace in the light that chased you " You eat my lovely treats then you accuse me of such actions, shame shame Alice." His tongue saturated in sarcasm as his eyes shaped around her figure and his finger slipped upon his bottom lip while his head moved a inch over to his right as he continued to take in her delicate figure. His unnatured stare could answer her question all in itself as his eyes glued itself to her breast and a snarky smile formed as he looked up to her meet her glossing eyes, " Oh yes..your question..I uh..lost focus for awhile.." He gave a faint shrug and goofy smile towards Alice. He was astounded how thus far he had not said anything perverted or even embarrassed himself, but having Mary here guiding him and directing him in her questionable manner leveled him and it made him feel more comfortable with himself. Even though he had never met this girl he could see a seat of 'friendship' just through her glowing eyes alone. His reflection staring back as he now glued his eyes to hers only rendered him inclement and thoughtless struggling to pronounce his words correctly even in his eastern accent. She must of thought of him as a stumbling buffoon, " I-I-I Yea....I am that....guy..." He exhaled heavily, "What!!" He said in the confines of his mind, "Come on Yoi..you can do this..calm..don't stare at her breast just keep looking at those beautiful eyes.." " I mean..The only trouble I get in is...is..is..." He snaps his fingers quickly and Mary in a rush for words yells, "Good trouble right?" shrugging her shoulders afterwards and scratching her head. Yoi raising his eyebrow towards the woman and sighing while meanwhile in the bottom of his heart his soul was screeching in pain and agony, "Kill me Now!" Alice stuck out her tongue at him when he suggested she had no shame. “I offered you my expert review. That should allow for no debt.” She waved her hands to the sides, watching him with a small smile. Yoi’s eyes were on her chest and it wouldn’t have struck her that he was observing her diminutive breasts if he didn’t make a show of it. Alice burst into laughter, both of her arms coming to encase her frame. She shook with giggles for a while, then swept a tear from the corner of one eye and looked to Yoi again, appearing both amused and... grateful?
“If my chest can distract you anything could,” she teased easily, feeling quite certain there was nothing to admire there. She was as small breasted as they came and it would be a wonder if it could be spotted in the loose-fitted school uniform. Thus, he was merely being nice, or trying to prove a point for the rumors she’d heard. Either way, Alice was grinning when he admitted being the person from the gossip wheel. In one quick motion, she gave him a pat on the arm. “Don’t worry dude, I don’t believe everything they whisper around the corridor.” She eyed him next. “Unless you’re saying it’s all true?” The amusement never left her. If the rumors were really true she had to actually start listening next time.
Yoi was clarifying his meaning and one of her eyes was widening along with the raising of an eyebrow. The girl, Mary, helped him and Alice smiled and shrugged. “We all get into trouble,” she started, hands spreading to her sides again. “Well, almost all of us.” She picked up a stray, larger sweet-crumb and stuck it in her mouth. The finger she used came up afterwards and her eyes were shining. “Why would anyone want to stay on the dull side of the pond?” She remembered he said he was foreign and cleared her voice, looking for a better wording. “I mean, life is boring enough without you trying hard to make it extra boring. A bit of trouble is welcome!” She gave him a little grin, eyes briefly mischievous.
Although the kind of pranks and jokes Alice pulled on others weren’t exactly top gossip material, she wasn’t innocent when it came to getting in trouble. Suddenly, she was distracted by a thought and she waved her hands around. “You own this place?” She started pacing around, leaving her backpack discarded by the counter. “How do you have enough time to work and come to school?” She blinked once and looked over to him. She was quite sure he was younger. Alice had never worked a day in her life but she was thinking about finally getting a part-time job. Her inner laziness gave the standard protest at the thought.
That matter aside, Alice came back to stand in front of Yoi. She lightly poked his chest. “So. What’s the worst trouble you’ve gotten into?”

When the dawn breaks, it will be goodbye again
Dreams will become distant phantoms Whenever we embrace in the light that chased you
He was astounded at her response a oafish and geeky smile as his visage began to show a spectacle as it shimmered scarlet red caught in his own corrupted sight of her breast, "Well beautiful women do distract me..to some degree I just can't help, but indulge in there appearance.." Mary cutting her eyes towards his flirty comeback and folding her arms holding back all the very need to smack the boy across the back of his head, "Humph.." Yoi was rendered helpless around this girl as she patted his arm he could feel himself slipping away and turning into a flood of sentiment, but resisting his inner urge he puckered up and nodded his head, "I wouldn't believe all the rumors some of them sprout at our school..I'm not all that bad I'm I Mary?" Her anger still unclenched she gave a dull growl and mumbled, "I guess.." A glamored smile swiped across his succulent lips, "I don't know many bad guys who could have done 'all' those 'bad' things that bake cookies.." Yoi knew he was a troublemaker, but just for once he wanted others to see he wasn't all that bad. He just managed to find himself constantly in the neck of trouble from getting into fights with the local chain gangs, to standing up the bullies that picked on the others kids and the usual need to skateboard around the schoolyard and being dragged to the office by his shirt collar. His eyes widened as she mentioned a comment about the dull side of a pond and he actually found himself thinking back to his father's constant lectures about 'not' getting into trouble, " The dull side of pond can be just as fun sometimes with someone else to level you.." He lowered his head as he shook his head happily confiding in his own mind he said, "You old coot you still are in my thoughts I wish I could see me now.. He lifted his head upwards and nodded quickly, "Yeah I own this place my father left it to me in his will after he died..the old coot..was a good guy..wanted me to take over where he left off.."He listened readily and continued to smile, "Well I have these knuckleheads behind me to help me manage the shop..while I'm in school and what not its hard, but we manage somehow.."He scratched his head softly, "Well used to have this other guy, but for some reason he quit..didn't really give a reason.." He casually gave a sinister grin and gave a light laugh, "You know that permanent limp on that bully Akio? His voice still leaking of happiness, but mirrored a slight sadness, "He was picking on this kid in 9-A for the longest..and..everyday I would pass by them and it just wrecked me to the core that he was picking on that kid..then I just..snapped and beat him up..He lowered his head, "I still feel like he deserved it, but now whenever he sees me..he looks away or tries to skirt off before I even look at him..it makes me feel as if I was the bully all along.."
