The more water she’s trying to manipulate, the more strenuous the task gets and she won’t be able to do anything when she becomes extremely exhausted. The farther the water source is, the more effort it requires to draw to her side as well. She can freeze and unfreeze water, as well as draw moisture from fabrics, plants, etc but the latter requires more concentration and can’t be done in great haste. Although using her power has instilled a little bit of strength and stamina in her, she’s a generally small and weak person. She fails at being interested in sports but proves to be remarkably flexible for gymnastics. She can balance on a thick rope and adopt all sorts of flexibility-challenging positions. She can’t run enough to save her life and she’s as slow as a turtle too. She can only move / influence water by moving her arms, hands or fingers so immobilizing her hands equals rendering her powerless. ✖ Personality Alice is a witty and playful highschool senior with a love of teasing, jokes and sarcasm. She is the image of mischievous, always plotting how to get under people’s skins or how to sneak her way into professor’s good graces. She misbehaves generously, but only when it doesn’t have significant consequences. Alice knows her interests and she won’t sabotage her chances, even if she’s craving to do something devious on the inside. Expressive and animated, she’s outgoing and easy to approach; however, she’s not always nice, especially if for some reason she dislikes the person. Alice enjoys prying secrets out of people and generally butting into others’ business. She’s nosy and a bit of a snoop, readily eavesdropping and paying firm attention to the gossip web. She’ll use people’s secrets against them, blackmailing them to do chores or who knows what else for her, but only if they’re her enemies. It amuses her to have rivals and she won’t go easy on them. She can be warm, caring and silly in the presence of friends and she openly displays affection. Although she’s loyal to people who’ve never hurt her, that category holds a total of one person – her best friend Mindy. Once you’ve upset her, she’ll hold a grudge forever and the extent of her coldness towards such people is startling. Alice can be classified as a sensitive person. Anyone who betrays her trust or tramples, however slightly, on her feelings makes her instantly retract her attention and consideration towards them. In her darker moments she can be cruel and insensitive. She goes for the heart first, when her enemies are concerned, and she’ll enjoy seeing them squirm and suffer double the amount of what they did to her. Sometimes it appears she just doesn’t care. These periods usually occur after suffering an emotional blow, but she’ll never appear depressed or interested in moping around. The two courses of action are: focus on taking revenge or simply view the world with indifference with a smile on your face. ✖ History Alice was born to loving parents originally farmers who later moved to the city. She was a happy child with plentiful friends, enjoying a rather sheltered childhood in a world full of dreams and creative activities. Her parents made sure never to deny her anything that was within their means to provide and their possibilities weren’t great but she went to a good school and later highschool. She never lacked clothes or books or games for her computer, but she wasn’t exactly walking around with the latest model phone and living inside Famous Brands either. She never excelled in school but always kept to the top ten of her class, for a long time holding the number 5 position. Irrecoverably lazy and with her head in the clouds, she never studied more than she had to in order to pass with dignity, instead focusing her attention on reading, going out and generally enjoying life. Now a senior in highschool, she has no idea what she’ll do in the future and is pretty much avoiding any decision-making, opting to keep dreaming and not take it seriously. She’s made a few friends in highschool but relationships soured when personalities clashed and insensitive words were said. During highschool she became more and more annoyed with her parents for being essentially simple-minded people who didn’t seem to understand any of her problems but insisting she follow their outdated, inappropriate advice when they noticed her difficulties. Although she doesn’t hate them, she feels she can’t talk to them about anything and avoids letting them know what she’s up to or what’s on her mind lately. Since day one of highschool, she’s only had eyes for one guy and now three years later, she’s accepted that he’ll never see her in the same way. During those three years, she’s rejected everyone else who showed interest in her, usually politely. The guy in question graduated, so now she’s in transition, burying her feelings for him while feeling rather bored and empty without his presence around. If she’s lonely for never having had a relationship, she doesn’t seem to show it. She doesn’t seem to be in any rush to accept just anyone in her life, either. Alice discovered she can manipulate water around the age of 10. She doesn’t know why she can do it and she’s never spoken to her parents about it either. For fear of appearing to be a “freak” she has only revealed her ability to Mindy who never told anyone else about Alice’s secret. Teenagers keep disappearing around the city and Alice isn’t stupid. She suspects she’s probably not the only one capable of strange things and she’s afraid she’ll disappear too if someone finds out about her power. A bit of a drifter, a bit of a joker and a bit of a daredevil, she’s a puzzle even to herself and she doesn’t really know what she wants or where her life is headed. She swears she can see Neverland in the night sky, though. ✖ Example Fifth character. This character is played by [Norbex].
