[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width, 500px] [atrb=style,border-top: 10px solid #4477aa;background-color: #222222;] 15 years old ✖ Female ✖ Hetero-Sexual✖ Mutant
✖Power/Ability Enhanced Intelligence:Nobi has immense memory and other mental capacities, allowing thinking on various different levels at once and while multitasking. She can immediately conceive complex formulas and models, possible results and other factors on speed compared to that of a computer as well as recall everything she have experienced, connecting and comparing known facts to such experiences to come up with solutions. Nobi can also Instantly understand the workings of anything no matter how simple or complex. ✖ PersonalityNobi tends to keep to herself, preferring solitude to being socially active. Yet while very isolated, she isn't afraid to speak when spoken to, showing that she isn't very shy or incapable of conversation. Of course, its simply getting her to stop talking that is the problem, as she tends to go into detail quickly, even going into topics that are hardly related to the subject. Sarcastic at times, she is very friendly if anyone gets to know her. Though she can be very defensive when it comes to her own personal beliefs. Loyal,dedicated, she will do anything for those who seem in need of help, even at the cost of her own safety. ✖ History The only child of a middle class family, Nobi was born in Kyoto, Japan within the mountain city of Ayabe. With her father being a executive within a medical corporation in Tokyo, and her mother as a school teacher, being intelligent and knowledgeable was almost a certain for her future. They expected much from her and she worked hard to gain their approval in all that she did. Yet, Nobi found herself struggling in almost every subject. Despite her best efforts, everything she did was simply average.
The only thing that she found success withing was music. Having begun at an early age at the behest of her grandmother, the young girl learned how to play the violin and did so beautifully. But, this didn't get her any favor with her parents, believing that she should try harder to succeed in her studies rather than something as trivial as music. So the pattern of her disappointing them continued in till her 13th birthday. Upon walking into class one day, she found herself recalling information on a subject that she hardly knew anything about, tying it together with facts she had gained during one of her instructor's lectures.
It was incredible. Nobi knew so much and could actually apply it to almost everything. The girl could see things in a way that never been available to her in-till that moment. Though her mind rapidly tried to deduce what could have triggered her boost in intellect, her excitement almost overrode such attempt at reason. This was her chance to make her parents proud. To show them that she could do it. Though just as she was returning home from school, she got off the train to find a set of homes on fire within the city, hers being among them. From that moment, she lost both her parents and any chance of showing them that their daughter was as bright as they had believed all along.
As such, Nobi began to keep to herself during the rest of that year, moving to the states to live with her grand mother. While information continued to flow through her like a waterfall, the girl did her best to hide her intelligence, simply keeping her mouth closed unless spoken to. ✖ Example RP SAMPLE: DC Justice: Apocalypse Topic Name: End Of Night
Home was where you felt the most safe. It was where you knew the people that cared for you, loved you, and protected you. A haven from the life outside and the one place you knew you could never be abandoned. But what did you do when no such place existed? Where did you go when you had no such haven and knew none would ever exist? How do you keep going?
For as long as Raven could remember, she was an outcast. Even in Azarath, they treated as though she were a ticking time bomb waiting to explode. Some even attempted to end her life before it even began. The very reason was even allowed life was due to the influence of her father. The very being that wished to fill her like an empty sack. The creature that wanted to take over the world. As much as she had been prepared, it seemed like nothing could prevent what was going to happen. Either she gave in, or he would continue to seek her out. Trigon would come and there was nothing that could prepare this world for his arrival.
Sitting upon the roof of a building, the young teen laid back in the dark. Having fled from her home, she had no place to call her own. This was a world that was new to her and no amount of stories could have warned her of just how dangerous it was. Gangs, demons, super-powered beings of different origins. Stories were one thing, being there to see it was another. But the demons were more her concern, which was why she hadn't settled in one place, constantly moving.
Dakota City was her lastest and she found rather quite in some areas. Of course, to even get to his building she had to get through two groups of gang bangers, scaring them rather than attacking by a display of her Soul Self. They warned her of their possible reaction to her moving in on their turf, but her mind was elsewhere when they did.
Hair blowing gently the night hair, eyes finally closed, Raven couldn't remember when she had a chance to just...breath out and not think. In fact, this brief moment finally gave her a chance to recall that...this was her mother's world. Was that why she was so determined to protect it? Or to at least try? What real connection did she have with her mother? She couldn't even recall her face?
Story of my life......Two parents and the only one I really know is the one hunting me.....
A calm expression lingered as she allowed herself to gaze towards the stars. They looked so wonderful, even if some were hidden due to the city lights. But the few that could be seen were shinning brighter than she thought possible. This beauty that everyone could see.....maybe that was worth saving....Maybe...
"It doesn't matter.....In the end....We're all dead......Everything will burn and I'm only delaying by what Im doing now...."
Turning herself to rest on her side, the young girl placed her hands under her head, frowning as she closed her eyes once more. Sleep was what she needed, not more self reflection. Rest...and a chance to allow her mind a brief reprieve from it's mental warfare.

I like the originality of her supernatural ability, as well as how it fits so well with her personality and history. And I figured that actually, she's pretty much the only character with a history like this one, so it's not like everyone's gone for a similar approach, and I'd be saying something different if that was the case. As it isn't, though it's good! ^^ Sorry 'bout being so picky.
And sorry for the typos. My keyboard is pathetic. But anyway, check out the claims and you'll be ready to go!
