[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width, 500px] [atrb=style,border-top: 10px solid #4477aa;background-color: #222222;] 17 years old ✖ Female ✖ Hetero-Sexual ✖ Human
✖ PersonalityAmanda is a stubborn and often head strong individual. She is not only willing to go to any length to get what she wants, but is also ok with putting herself in danger as well. Very direct in her opinions, the girl isn't afraid to call someone on their stupidity, even if her own actions are just as idiotic. Amanda also has a hard time admitting when she is wrong, placing her own knowledge as law unless proven wrong through facts. But, her strong will isn't the only thing about herself.
Amanda is severely dedicated to anything she puts her mind to, wanting to finish what she starts to the best of her abilities. Very socially active, she is a loyal friend and does tend to be a good defensive point for those who need help dealing with annoying individuals. Often sarcastic, the girl has a good heart and deeply cares for people and their problems. So long as they don't bring it upon themselves, Amanda helps out any way she can. A firm believer in the truth, she hates liars and has a deep respect for those who are honest.
Though very courageous, Amanda has a deep fear of water and tends to stay away from deep ended pools to large bodies of water. ✖ HistoryThe eldest child of a family of four, Amanda is the only daughter to Ronald and Marie Taylor. Next to her younger brother, Daniel, she tends to be the most outgoing of the two. Living within the middle class, her family is pretty much exactly what you'd expect from any other. While her father is a Factory Manager for a shipping company, her mother is simply a Home maker. Meanwhile, this leaves Daniel as the quiet book worm, who is often teased for his glasses and Amanda as the outspoken school reporter.
Ever since entering Middle school, Amanda has always had a drive to get information on events from the source. Thus, she began her own Newspaper, "The Source", reporting everything that happened within the city and at school. This gave her quite the reputation growing up and many come to her when they want to know whats going on or if they have a story to tell. Though more often than not, she goes out and gets the stories from them. Having done this for so long, she has gathered some followers and other like her to join in her Newspaper club, even going so far as to get their own room within the building.
But as her time in High School comes to an end, Amanda is slowly looking towards the future. With only a year left, Amanda wishes to go out with one last great story and the interesting events of teens disappearing has caught her utmost interests. ✖ Example
RP EXAMPLE Location: Naruto Extinction Topic Title: Simply Ordinary(Playing as Susami Sayoko)
"Would it really kill me to get a new kimono?"
Looking over the different designs and patterns of traditional Japanese robes, the young girl frowned to herself as she stared at the items through a stainless window. While not being a fan of such dress, Sayoko couldn't lie in saying she hadn't been somewhat interested in it. After all, they did look quite beautiful and maybe if she brought one, she might look less..intimidating.
What am I thinking!? I look fine....Heh....
Within a light blue sweatshirt hoodie that covered a white tank top that hung slightly over her shorts, Sayoko found herself slumping forwards while staring at her reflection upon the glass window and sighed. Perhaps a change was in order, but she didn't want to give off anymore ideas that she still had girl like thoughts. The point she was going for was that she wanted to be taken seriously. After all, shinobi hardly worried about appearance right? Did it really matter if she dressed like a tomboy most times? It hadn't been a problem for her before yet now it was starting to become a personal issue with her.
But then, perhaps this kind of problem was better than dealing with those within the ANBU. It had been her first day back from a mission and she was partly relieved that this was the only real concern she had. Most of the time, it was staying alive or trying to complete her task with little trouble as possible. Either way, these thoughts were hardly small. Something like clothing dilemmas was hardly anything to stress about, but when you have daggers and fireballs being tossed your way, that can be counted as a stress.
"Relax Sayoko....You need to relax.....the whole point of getting outside was to relax...."
Pushing her hands downwards as she expressed her need to calm down, the red head girl then began walking once more through the streets of Kirigakure. There was still so much more to do before she settled for one spot. After all, the day was young and she had free time. It was better than her alternative, which would be training if she didn't find something soon.
This character is played by [Kaze].

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width, 300px] [atrb=style,border-top: 10px solid #4477aa;background-color: #222222;]ACCEPTED!
Nice!
I love how very..well.. normal she seems, and I think that this gives her an edge, of sorts, that characters with overly eventful histories do not have, and frankly I like it. Also, an aspiring reporter! Awesome. I can imagine that she'd find the current events in the city to e fascinating then, what with the disappearances and whanot. I wonder what she'll make of it all... But yes! I think that she has a lot of potential, and I'm intregued to see how you'll go about roleplaying her. ^^
