N/A~ "But if I did, I'd float around and fill the meadows with flowers! It would be very bright and blissful, like heaven!" ^-^ ✖ PersonalityThough she's not blonde Eloise acts like it sometimes. She's famous for it at the insurance company where she works. She'll smile, bounce around and make a fool of herself just to act like nothing happened later. Lots of people think that she's just a tad bit insane sometimes, especially when she's gaga over a guy. Her eyes will be especially bright and she'll be the typical clingy girl. To top off her already-saturated tipsy personality, no matter how much information is given to her, she'll always be a bit clueless and be apt to make stupid assumptions. However, underneath her little act is the mind of a truly brilliant woman. Eloise is one of the smartest people you could find out there when it comes to everyday problem solving and common sense, and math. Eloise's brain is very good at math, able to do several more calculations a minute than other peoples'. Though she could get herself a lot farther ahead in life if she actually used her ability, Eloise has always been too scared to. She feels that it is an effect of the virus, and is scared to death of being a mutant though she probably never will be. This is why she is so intent on hiding her intelligence. Out in public, Eloise is always wide-eyed and eager to meet new people, especially boys. Devoted and always blatantly honest, you can always count on her to be a good friend and one that doesn't let you down. It's hard to make enemies with her, due to her flighty attitude, unwillingness to hold grudges, and ... well ... unusual stature. (She's pretty tall, six foot one in fact.) ✖ HistoryEloise Schaeffer's mother was eight months pregnant when the government declared that the town that they lived in and the surrounding area would have to be gated off due to the presence of a dangerous virus that affected everyone inside. Mrs. Hiromatsu and her husband had noticed something strange going around the community, but neither of them had been touched. The shutdown was like a condemning order, that both parents knew would lead to their deaths, and the death of their little baby girl. So, they made the hardest decision of their lives. Mr. and Mrs. Hiromatsu wanted their baby to have a better life than what the world inside the zone could offer. In a carefully-planned scheme, they placed her on a convoy leaving the fenced area and hoped that something good would come out of it. Even though they knew they would probably never see their little girl again, they were content with the thought of her living in the world at large and not cooped up where the virus could get to her. The move nearly cost the newborn baby her life. The leader of the convoy was furious once they got back to base and found the little girl, nestled snugly in a basket and swaddle, crying for her mother. A note tied to the handle begged someone to give her a name and a home in the world outside the zone. She was nearly left to die in a secluded place, but luckily a nice lady picked her up and brought her home. This woman, Mrs. Schaeffer, was a government official, and she and her husband had just lost a daughter of their own to miscarriage. The lonely brown-haired baby from the convoy seemed like a sign from above. Adopting her as their own, the couple named her Eloise.
Childhood and teendom went by fast. Eloise grew up fully believing that she was the Schaeffers' own, and even through High School, when she changed rapidly in height and size, she had no doubts about her heritage. Others had their suspicions though. Eloise didn't look like her mother or father at all, and boy was she tall! There was talk around the town of her being the product of an affair. After a while these stories reached the High schooler's ears. Eloise was much disturbed by the rumors and so finally one day she asked. Mrs. Schaeffer sighed and pulled down a basket that had been sitting for years on the top shelf of the kitchen pantry. This was the basket that she had discovered Eloise in. Gently she apologized for not telling her before about her true parentage, and showed her adopted daughter the note. Then she explained that she had been put on the convoy by a pair of brave people who wanted their daughter to escape the virus that had broken out in the place she was born, and live a normal life. To say the least, Eloise was shocked. She walked around for the next few weeks in a stupor. At first she was mad at her adoptive mom and dad for never telling her, but after a while that feeling began to become unimportant. It wasn't long after that she was at terms with it. However the fear of the virus never wore off.
Graduating from high school, Eloise applied for a job at Green and Son Insurance Company as a receptionist and got the job. She has no desire to go outside her comfort zone, but with the recent turn of events she has been thinking of going back to the Zone and finding her true heritage- and wether she's a mutant as she suspects. (She will never be). ✖ Example(This sample is from a superhero RP site; I play Hawkeye there.)
Clint Barton could feel his teeth chatter a little. The heavy, wet snow pelted his back, and strangely enough the cold wind came at him from the other direction. Nothing but the howl of the storm could be heard; visibility was one inch for any normal human; six feet for Hawkeye, who was perched up in a big solid pine tree, at least partly protected from the mid-afternoon blizzard. He wrapped the fur-lined coat he was wearing closer around his shoulder and hunched down to a smaller surface area. Man. This is what he loved about the cold-hearted Wild, its unpredictablility, its rash decisions- and, also, its power and ability to kill. Hawkeye had left SHIELD, out of pure boredom, to see what the Rockies were like now. He had been excited by the challenge that it presented, and the test of his ability and nose. Clint had asked if Natasha had wanted to come, too (She was looking a bit glum back at base as well) but as always she had declined. He had always considered it a bit of a joke between them but it would be nice to have a little more heat right now. Extending his arm a little, he was able to flex the tight metal bowstring on his bow, and nock an arrow into it. Any lumbering animal that came by, wandering aimlessly through this huge snowstorm, would inevitably be meat for the night. All he could do was wait, and scan the endless white for a sign of movement. An hour, two hours passed, and Clint was about to give up when suddenly something huge and powerful by about three feet from the tree. Bull Moose. Clint's grin spread from ear to ear. This was going to be cool. Quickly he stood and with a carefully-placed shot, put his arrow through its eye. It was dead the moment the head hit its brain. Clint hopped down from his low bough and strolled over to the moose. Taking a large tactical knife from his pack, he ripped open the moose's exposed belly and gutted it. The warmth felt really good. An hour later it was skinned and cleaned of meat. Clint washed his hands in the snow. The wind was still baying like a thousand hounds all at once, and the snow was falling thicker than ever. Clint dragged his haul to the tree and hung it on a high branch, so nothing would get it. He sat back down on the branch and promptly fell asleep, huddled safely in his fur coat.
The awoke to nothing but a low growling, coming from the base of the tree. Despite his sleepiness, Clint forced his eyes to focus. The landscape around was white, but thankfully it wasn't blizzarding anymore. Then he realized that the growling was an animal's. Or, rather, animals'. Carefully, slowly, Clint stood and reached back for an arrow. A pack of timber wolves were gathered around the pine, growling and licking their chops. There was about five of them there, and they probably wanted the meat that Clint and his prize could offer. They were pretty skinny, after all. Clint smiled. One of the wolves reared up on his hind legs, in vain trying to reach Clint's low ledge. It was then that he jumped. Using the velocity of the wolf's movement to his advantage, Clint launched himself into the air off its head and spun around, taking out two in mid-flight. All three wolfs were instantaneously toast; the force of Clint's weight on the first one's skull had crushed it instantaneously. The other two were halfway to him when they got .45 caliber bullets through their skulls. Clint had tried to land in a crouch position, but unfortunately he had miscalculated one thing: the waist-deep snow, about three feet of it. He had been forced to straighten up when he hit the ground. "Aw, Shit." He swore only a single word and pushed forward back toward the tree. After Burying the wolf pack in the snow to be found by scavengers later, he grabbed the moose meat from the tree and set off across the snow. Still no messages on his phone or noise from the pager. So he wasn't needed yet. A couple more weeks and maybe if there was still no word he'd wander back into SHIELD. This character is played by BRY.

Aww XD Poor girl. Though since she does have people in the government, she should know a little more about the virus enough to be a little terrified I suppose. It'll be nice to have someone like her around :] Make you're claims and you'll be ready to go. |
