[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width, 500px] [atrb=style,border-top: 10px solid #4477aa;background-color: #222222;] 25 ✖ MALE✖ HETERO ✖ HUMAN
✖Power/AbilityAlthough Tristan is not a mutant, he is enhanced. He is entirely human but at the peak of human performance. His strength, speed, flexibility, endurance, reflexes, and agility are all at the maximum levels a human can attain within a balance. All too human but not to be taken lightly.
Tactics, weapons, hand to hand, intel gathering, interrogation, demolitions, insertion, subterfuge, tracking, evasion, survival, escape, and improvisation are just some of his practices. He can flawlessly improvise any combination of specialties to accomplish a mission. At all times he has any number of gadgets and weapons at his immediate disposal. He has yet to fail. With his natural talents and intelligence he has been mistaken for a mutant himself on more than one occasion.
✖ PersonalityOne of his instructors once commented, "if that kid were wound any tighter he'd snap that stick in his rear clean in half."
He has the most adaptable personality of anyone. He is capable of befriending almost anyone. When he sticks to himself he tends to be intorspective, soft spoken, intuitive, but forceful. The kind of guy that no matter how soft he speaks in a group, others stop to listen. Despite some of the rough edges, he's an idealist and his heart's in the right place.
He enjoys many of the arts, has an amazing mind for numbers, but has weakness for piano. He can play beautifully and enjoys it when someone else shows equal or greater skill.
Overall, he's well within the parameters of normal. No one guesses his background. Although if they did then he wouldn't be very good at what he does would he? ✖ HistoryGrew up in lower class Chicago. His childhood is fairly unimpressive besides his grades. Joined the Marines at 17 and went Force Recon. Exemplary performance and commendations landed him in Delta Force. Very rare for Delta to recruit from the Marine Corps. Two years into Delta he was selected for a specialized group of government agents. They were known only as Operators, their existence was a myth, and purpose completely unkown. At 23 years of age he entered the ATRC. Advanced training and reprogramming course. A year and a half later he emerged as a fully qualified Operator. His mission is to track down, gather intel on, then capture mutants. Within six months he had a track record of 8 captures and 0 escapes. An unprecedented history for an Operator.
To the government he's a prodigy, to the mutant underground he's either a whisper or a myth, to all others he doesn't exist. ✖ ExampleFurious! If only there were a more powerful word.
He gripped the flash drive almost too tightly, eyes flashing white hot with anger. He felt confused, angry, but above all betrayed. The images of what they had been doing to the mutant he had brought in no more than a week ago wouldn't go away. Never go away. The things they were doing...
It couldn't be could it? Maybe just the one time? How many others? Did any one know? What should he do? His mind was a vertiable whirlwind of questions and noise. He had the proof right in front of him. Everything in him screamed that this was for the good of humanity. That he was doing the right thing. That this was what needed to be done to ensure the future protection of everyone... But the small and ever more persistent voice in his head knew better.
No one, mutant or otherwise, should ever have to live through what he just witnessed.
The air conditioning was barely a nussiance to the heat in his BMW. Tristan wiped his brow. It hadn't been difficult to obtain the information. Hell, it's what he was designed to do. He knew what needed to be done. Every shred of intel on every known mutant and their whereabouts flashed in his head. He wasn't sure if he could go through with it... But he couldn't sit and do nothing either.
The young operator looked in the mirror as he put the big, black sedan into drive. "Tristan Caine..." He said out loud. 'Defector and double agent,' is what he thought as he slid into traffic. This character is played by [CryHavoc].

My apologies. I have a bad habit of getting excited and cutting a few corners on personality and back story. I am also not entirely HTML savvy.
-Cheers

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width, 300px] [atrb=style,border-top: 10px solid #4477aa;background-color: #222222;]ACCEPTED!
From what I can see, it all looks good to me! I like the originality of the character, and though I have to admit that I was a little dubious after reading the abilities, they all make sense after reading the history, as you've explained why he excels as much as he does in each one. Very nice touch!
In terms of his occupation, I think it fits very nicely with the overall plot, from what I've gathered, although I'm far from an expert on that. But yes! From what I can see, it looks awesome. I can't wait to see him in action!
So without further ado, please put the name you wish to be known as where it says "Alias" on the app, check out the claims and you'll be ready to go! |
