Feeling the gentle push of an officer's hands against her back, the young teen shrugged him off, a frown on her face as she looked once more towards the Chief of Police, eyes narrowed as she placed one hand on her hip while she turned to face him. This wouldn't be the first time she had been escorted from the Police Department. In many of their major cases, they always found the red haired teen not too far behind, her notepad in hand and a smirk on her face. In truth, some feared she was worse than the real press, mostly since she always found a way to get the information she wanted and how to upload it so people states away knew what was happening before some stations could report it. The girl was talented, but they weren't going to throw her any favors. Amanda had already been prepared for such resistance, but the least she wanted was a better lead. After all, teens were vanishing and no one seemed to know or really care too much about it. Perhaps that was what really got to her, the fact that not many people were too concerned. Even the school hadn't implemented any new measures to prevent such happenings. Although, that wasn't the only thing that drove her. In truth, she wanted this story more than anything else. This was her golden ticket to the big leagues. She could get so much from this that it was almost too good for her to resist. Amanda had even gone so far as to stake out the stations just to see if anything came up, thus why she was being lead out at that very moment. "Come on....Afraid I'm gonna say that our city's finest is more interested in jelly rolls than finding missing kids? Or perhaps that two officers were talking about how unpaid your department and that lack of response to calls might help get more funding?"With a smirk on her face, the girl winced as the officer grabbed her arm and began to drag her once more towards the door, leaving the chief with a glare in his eyes as he watched her departure. Once outside, the male cop released her and then shut the door as he gave her a warning of not coming back. To that, the teen simply stuck her tongue out and then crossed her arms over her chest as she walked down the stairs. They either know something or are just trying to hide how they haven't a clue....But....Releasing a sigh as she placed her hands in her pockets, Amanda began walking down the street with a serious expression. There had to be a lead to follow some where? Why were teens being targeted? Just what made them so special aside from going through puberty?[/style][style=width:346px; border-top:1px dotted #007f24; font-family:terminal; font-size:10px; color:#69644f; background-color:#d9d6d6; letter-spacing: 1]TEMPLATE BY TSU OF OTE. She had found herself more in the city than around the housing development; the more she got in the more busier it got, the more busier it got the more of a faint buzz she would receive from people’s most outer thoughts, inner thoughts were the hardiest unless the person either willing let them out or had weak psionic shields. But that summer sun beat down on her head as she looked around. Delilah had never been on this side of the town, of course she had never needed to be at the police station. She stopped at the front of the station on the other side of the road. It must be fun being a cop, getting to see so much action, maybe she would become a cop. Then an idea tickled her mind, if she became a cop she could use her powers to find the person! Delilah had yet to find her full powers that would be an awesome day. On with the thought of being a cop, that would be awesome, it almost seemed like her as well. Leaning on her bike, she saw some sort of commotion with a man and a young girl. Delilah straightened up and squint her eyes, it seemed like they were in an argument and the girl was winning, the cop seemed to be spraying bullets. She tilted her head in curiosity, the girl was curious about what the cops were hiding? Even though it seemed to be news of topic, now Ben’s fears were real; teens were now going missing, which meant she wasn’t alone and the news was something to fear now. But whoever were taking these kids were really good at hiding in the shadows. She then saw the girl go downtrodden, wait has she seen that girl around the high school? Wait, she was the creator of “The Source”, always trying to keep everyone informed about what was happening and it seemed like her next scoop was the missing teens. Delilah did enjoy her findings but sometimes didn’t like how she would get her information, twisting people’s arms. Maybe today would be the day they would talk. Delilah’s head whipped from side to side, check for traffic and she peddled quickly to were Amanda was at. ”Hey! Are you from “The Source”?” Delilah stopped next to Amanda, a smile on her face.
