I made an listen-able intro for me!

Hello, everyone! This is Tabloid, making an Audio introduction. If you're looking to save yourself a few letters but say the same amount of syllables, you can call me Tabby. If you want to save letters AND syllables AND don't mind calling me by my real name, you can call me Ross. If you prefer a title that uses more letters and more syllables and you have a crippling desire to win my approval, you can call me "Your Lordship". For everyone else, there's Tabloid.
I've been roleplaying on the Tubes for quite a few years now, though there have been hiatuses here and there, but that should come as no surprise to anyone. I tend to not stretch myself over a lot of boards. I prefer to focus on one or two at a time, and that habit has created a small stable of legacy characters that I like using over many roleplays. For instance, the guy I'm applying with now, Jacob, is a variant on a character that I've roleplayed with since he was a teenager. So almost everything in his history is something I've roleplayed at some point, which some revision here and there to make it work better.
But you came here to hear about me, and not my roleplaying career. Well, I'm living in New England right now with my beautiful girlfriend, though I'm originally from down South. So if you ever see me using the words y'all and ain't, that's why. Also, my girlfriend is not with me at the moment, but don't fret! She's in Seattle right now, doing a full summer internship with Amazon.com. It's a pretty damn sweet gig. If she does well enough, she'll get a an open offer to work for them, which is highly probable given at how good she is. As for me, I got a few more years left in my Engineering education, then we'll move out there and make lots of money, adopt a dog, and buy every videogame that comes out.
Speaking of videogames, I'm a nerd, obviously. I think I'm more of a jack-of-all-trades nerd. I'm nerdy in a lot of fields, but nowhere near as nerdy as some folks. Though I have a soft spot for history and writing and pop culture. Chances are, you'll see my writing snob come out at some point but don't be offended. I may often sound crude and critical, but I love seeing people improve and I just want to make that happen. Oh yeah, I'm crude too. I tend to cuss casually and I'm very bad at keeping thoughts in my own head.
With all that in mind, I hope to have a great time with all of you and good day.
