At least nothing like the ability to breathe fire or anything. However being a test subject, he's gained some enhanced senses. He's able to see, hear, taste, and smell much better than the average human and is slightly more faster and stronger than most would expect of his age. However, compared to mutants he is simply a human and nowhere close to matching their abilities. But he does make for a nice test subject and when not on duty, an obedient little soldier for the government in their attempt to control mutants. And while not quite a power, he's known for being quite the actor, capable of appearing innocent in order to gain what he wants. ✖ Personality Felix is normally a quiet and emotionless young man to most, rarely ever saying much and if he does it's usually cold and to the point. One should not expect idle chit chat from him and even then most of the words that come out of his mouth consists of a simple 'yes' or 'no' if it sufficient enough. He's been this way for quite some time now but before he used to be a lot more fun-loving and carefree. But somewhere along the lines of the constant tests and abuse, his childish side disappeared, leaving this broken excuse of a child. He's very mature for his age though and loyal to the government despite his abuse. It's not known whether it's due to some modifications during the experiments or if he'd simply accepted his fate. But because of this lack of emotion, he can be very fierce in battle and merciless to his opponents. Despite his seemingly lack of emotions, it's been discovered he can be quite the actor when he wants to be, even coming off as a totally different person when he pulls off his act as an innocent and harmless child. When acting like this, he's very kind and always willing to help out people. A curious young boy who has a dream to become something great that people will remember throughout history. He hates behaving this way though and doesn't appreciate being mocked because of it by most in the government, often losing his temper and lashing out. Because of this, he wears a collar of sorts that can shock and subdue him should he act out of order. Ultimately, he is rather misunderstood and because of this seeming lack of emotion, he is often treated more like a possession than an actual child. He acts like he accepts this but in the end, it hurts him when he's reminded of it. Because of the mistreatment, he has become pretty mistrustful of everyone. ✖ History Felix doesn't remember much of his life before all this. But what he does remember doesn't quite make him miss it. From as far as memory serves, Felix was put into an orphanage at a very young age. Whether or not his parents had died or abandoned him, he has no idea. Whatever the case, he was an orphan who lived most of his early years within. It was always a fact that the younger children would always be the primary targets for parents looking to adopt. That for some reason wasn't the case with him. Young couples would always come and see him. They always seemed to like him and just when he thought they would adopt, they'd go to read his papers and for some reason would leave, never coming back. The other orphans liked to tease him because of this, saying harsh things like "you're broken" or "no one will ever want something useless like you" and soon enough, this became a fact in his mind and he gave up all hope of ever getting out of there. It was around the age of ten that these strange people in suits showed up. They ignored the others and immediately went to him. He wasn't too sure about them and honestly was scared of the possibility of being adopted by them, much like the other children. There was just something wrong with them and they could all sense it. They kept asking him strange questions and confusing the poor boy to no end. And then they went to see his papers. For once, he was actually hopeful not to be adopted this time. However, it seemed today was the day. They returned and it was official. He had a new home. He just really didn't expect it to be like this. Instead of going to a house like he had anticipated, he was instead brought to this large strange building he was soon to call home. They had brought him to this strange room that looked like it came from a hospital with all sorts of tools and a hospital bed in the middle. They directed him to sit down before leaving him with this person in a white lab coat. He began asking him questions about his life before telling him facts about his life that he didn't even know. Like the fact he apparently was one of the few born with mutated DNA and how they anticipated him becoming a mutant once he hit puberty. He didn't understand but didn't even have the chance to question anything when he was suddenly strapped down to a table. This was the first of many experiments he had gone through. Years had gone but unfortunately, their plan to have a fresh mutant in their lab was unsuccessful. It was of course a long shot on their part. It was natural for most infected with the virus to not evolve into anything. He was one of those. While the mutation was there, it was simply dormant and they believed it would never become active. At least not naturally like the others. They have decided to keep him however. Not like they have much of a choice. If their experiments were to get out, they might have to shut down. Besides, they may be able to make use of him. At least learn more about the virus. So to this day, Felix has changed quite a bit from the innocent child he used to be. He has been trained and used frequently for both mutant related missions as well as experiments. He's come to accept this life and plans to die as a possession of the government. It's not like he has much of a choice. He can't live a normal life anymore. ✖ Example I DO WHAT I WANT! He looks awesome and most likely is, the poor baby *laughs* I definitely would want to RP with him too, just so you know. ;D
