As a friend, she is steadfast and straightforward. She always tells the truth, seeing no point to lies or guile among allies. Sometimes others may wish that she'd soften her words, as they come out unintentionally harsh and even callously insensitive. But her brusque manner is not due to uncaring disregard, it's just her way. Straight to the point, no frills. She's quick-witted and cool-headed, a strong ally to have in a crisis, in physical as well as strategic strength. She's reserved by nature, with few close friends. But if she has few friends among mutants, she has even less among humans. She's rather dismissive of them, to be quite honest, thinking (densely) that they could never understand where she's coming from or sympathize with the mutant cause because it's nothing to do with them. Her view of normal humans (who are not with the enemy) is that it's not their problem, she doesn't expect them to get involved, but they'd better stay out of the way so they don't get hurt. |
[atrb=style,padding: 5; background-color: #181818;] enemies |
Her enemies are those which would harm her, her friends, and other mutants. Very simple definition yet widely encompassing. The government that would seek to make her disappear is an enemy. She is a fugitive living in plain sight. She'd never thought much about her future, but it seems that when bestowed with these powers, she was also given a purpose: bring down the people who would harm her because of them. Her break-down is very black and white: you are either with us, and an asset; or against us, and a target; or on the fence, and a liability. Enemies are to be dealt with quickly and precisely. She gets as much information out of them as she can, then incapacitates them and exits the scene. So far, she has avoided killing anyone, which is more than can be said for her government. Other than that, there are few people she dislikes. Given the measure of her prime enemy, smaller irritations are comparatively irrelevant, and ignored, unless they get in her face. She has a temper, so it's best not to rile her. Her temper is volatile mixture of iron control and lightning strike ferocity. She knows how to keep it under control, but there are times when she purposefully lets some of it leak through to scare her whoever is bothering her and make them back off before they trigger something for real. |

Lovers are a bit of an anomaly. She doesn't exactly inspire passion or romance. The guy would have to be rather unusual, and okay with heat lightning. She doesn't particularly seek out romantic partners, preserving the apex of relationships as "friend." She's actually belligerent to interested males at first, scornful of their delusion that they could want her for a lover, or even be able to handle her should she agree. The best way to stand with her is as an ally, she argues. Lovers are for an instant, comrades are for life. If she were to enter into a romantic relationship, it would be with another mutant, an ally working with her against the government. Humans are too fragile. |

uhh. idk. Hit me with what you got. All ears. Maybe one of her cousins who used to visit from the city and squabble with her actually has powers too. or doesn't, but they meet up with her in the city later anyway, as an ally or an opponent. //pulled from thin air |
