Sure, she’s short for her age and has an odd preference for dyeing her hair pink, but she doesn’t look like a mutant. She can’t fly or dodge bullets either, or breathe fire or any of that cool stuff. She just knows where people are. At any time and in any place within the world – a human GPS system. Call her that though and she won’t take it kindly. Her father is one of the government’s top-rank scientists who specialises in the mutation gene, and Hadley is his escaped experiment and has been for the past three years. She’s almost obsessed with the idea of freeing her twin-brother from the government’s possession and she’ll go to any lengths to achieve that goal.[/style]

Her childhood was spent in almost total isolation, where all she ever needed or wanted was her brother for company. And making friends whilst being constantly on the run from the government isn’t easy. Still, Hadley isn’t standoffish, once you look past her preference for sarcasm. She’s quick to smile, to laugh and to goof about and actually dislikes having to take things seriously if she doesn’t think that it’s necessary. And once Hadley let’s her guard down for someone, she does generally care about them and will have their back, even if it’s not in her best interests to do so. ‘Cause Hadley isn’t all that experienced in keeping and maintaining friendships she can be a little clingy, not in that she has to follow a friend about, breathing down their necks. But she considers her friends to be hers, and can be really unpleasant towards those whom Hadley might view as “overstaying their welcome”.[/style]

For her it’s quite simple: those of authority are the enemy. And she can’t show mercy to her enemies. It isn’t just the government whom Hadley hates. Teachers, politicians, lawyers, basically anybody who possesses influence and social power over others Hadley instinctively distrusts. She also makes an effort to treat humans civilly but Hadley tends to find it difficult to trust them, simply because humans have shown a tendency to make mutants suffer and Hadley can’t kid herself into believing that she would be the exception simply because she can’t physically hurt anybody with her power. Hadley probably has her own fair share of enemies also: thanks to her the government has a large mutant collection. She also has made a living out of thievery, not hesitating to use her power to make taking things easier, and few people ever like thieves. Hadley isn’t a forgiving person and she likes to get even with those who cross her. Though small, her anger is often a scary and destructive force.[/style]

She’ll use her pretty face to her advantage, put her sharp mind to use to charm and manipulate others and will whisper words that would make a more demure woman blush. But Hadley only does so when there’s something that she wants. She has no personal experience in the way of love. She was never given the chance, and compared to rescuing her brother romance seems stupid. But she still has a few remaining fantasies about being swept up and away by some charming white knight on his pale steed, a fleeting hope that true love and romance aren’t actually dead.[/style]
