[STYLE=margin: 20px 30px 30px 30px; text-align: justify; color: #c4c4c4;font-size: 10px;]✖Power/Ability
She's human, so she has none. However, she is known throughout the land for her powerful mind. Her brain, while confirmed not to be a mutation, is abnormally large- of course, at sacrifice for physical strength and social skills.
✖ Personality
Gianna is very smart. She was born to be a scientist, always questioning, always wanting to know more. Her powerful brain is, perhaps, something to make up for her twin sister's powers, but more on that later. She isn't a cold person, despite the general cold and calculating nature of her workplace, in fact, she is extremely kind. She works for the DNCS for a singe cause, however. Once again, it will all be explained shortly. She has a high self-control ability, something her sister lacks. This self-control is hard to maintain when she is being ridiculed for her age, her general lack of fiends, ect. You see, despite being as kind as could be, Gianna has few friends. Oh, that, and she's been diagnosed with social inadequacies, so yeah, that's her fatal flaw: the innabillity to really talk much. This is because she just moved here. Yeah, that's Gianna in a nutshell, though more ought to come out in her history.
✖ History
Gianna was born a twin. Not identical, despite what some people say, but a twin nonetheless. Her twin sister and herself were close even as babies. The two girls, Gianna and Harlequin (Quin for short) were raised as children by two loving parents. At first, there was hardly any difference between the two girls, and they were interchangeable for each other. Through preschool, they cared for each other and stayed with each other, being there as sisters for each other. However, in both of them, DNA was stirring, DNA that was impossible to ignore.
It started when Quin and Gianna hit kindergarten. To everyone's surprise, they were very different. Gianna was already reading long books with no pictures easily. Quin, on the other hand, was still learning. Gianna's DNA was stirring, creating one of the greatest of minds. And, though Gianna fought to stay with her sister, she was moved ahead three grades, and from second grade, she watched her sister struggle. This continued, so of course, Gianna offered tutoring to her sister. She worked hard to make her sister smart. She wanted Quin to be with, because as Gianna was several years younger than her peers, she was pushed around unreasonably. In fourth grade, she skipped one more grade, distancing herself further from all of her peers.
Of course, at this point, the government was already watching her. They had been watching her family because of the virus that their grandfather had been 'immune' to once upon a time. When her parents had twins, they were put on alert, recognnising that train in supernatural humans would likely arrive their generation. While they saw that there was, so far, no sign of a mutated human, they saw a genius in their hands. Readying themselves, they separated Gianna further, putting her in special classes at a private school she won scholarship for. She guiltily stared at her now rising fifth grade sister as she prepared to start high school, hating herself for having little time with Quin.
Then, something happened. From eleventh grade for Gianna, eighth for Quin, Quin started displaying something... odd. Quin had never been one or confrontation, so when she began to start arguing with Gianna, Gianna knew something was wrong. When during one of these arguments, a hurricane started? That wasn't good. Quin had a mutation, an uncontrollable ability. When she was angry, or sad, or frustrated, great storms with black lightning would start, rampant destruction availed. Since they lived in Florida, and Florida had many storms, no one noticed at first. The government had suspicions, but they were never aired, for there was no proof. For a year, they hid it... but it was driving Quin insane.
One day, the last day of highschool for Gianna, her fifteenth birthday, Quin blew it. Clouds that centered around her started rolling as this newfound temper screamed uncontrollable, lightning scorching the face of the earth. Gianna rushed to save Quin, to stop the madness once and for all. A fight ensued, and only Gianna's quick thinking saved her from that black figure of death. Finally, the girl Quin who wasn't really Quin anymore fell from the storm that held her, and rain softly patterned around her as she cried. Gianna attempted to comfort her, but she considered herself a monster. She was killing, going insane! She ran away, never to be seen again, not for a lack of trying. Harlequin Tyler wanted to be found by no member of the human race, no one she could hurt.
Gianna would never be the same. She soared through collage, as the government who had manipulated her life knew she would. That's when they approached her, the day of her nineteenth birthday, the day she graduated. They gave her an offer: come with them. Find out more. Save others from her sister's fate. The DNCS wanted a genius like her. Gianna followed them, agreeing to work as a scientist. Her goal was to save the mutants from themselves, so, despite the fact that she is a scientist, she is one of the most lenient people in the DNCS, and has been teased for being 'too kind'. Little do they know the laughing, playing brown-haired girl she will remember, fighting still so that when she finds her, she won't have to be the stormy eyed demon any longer.
✖ Example
Kec'ka and the Gorgons followed the men onto the ship ahead of them. It was a clean metal affair, all smooth lines and shining steel. To Kec'ka, it looked little better than tinfoil. It probably had no magical reinforcement. At all. Still, it was better than the broken ship the Gorons had been on prior. Say, speaking of that... Kec'ka doubted any of the rest of her crew had really thought about the engine breakdown. (She considers them all idiots.) But wasn't it weird, the way it had broken? It was almost as if it was sabotaged. Kec'ka entertained the possibility, but there has been no chance for this to happen. Unless a crew member has done it... No, they weren't smart enough to do that. Only some so possitively wonderfully devilish such as herself could have come up with that, and she didn't actually plan on having this happen.
Despite the inconvenience of being on such an archaic ship, it was a military vehicle. Kec'ka figured she could learn some stuff. She was about to search for a way to do just that when she caught another glance of the military commander, Sean. She remembered what she had seen earlier. She searched her brain for all her knowledge on the two dragons she had recognized. Unfortunately, it wasn't much, but it was more than some people would know. She basically knew that these dragons, now trapped in spirits, once ruled the universe. However, now they gave thier powers to others through thier spirits, which were supposively impossible to reach if you weren't 'chosen' or such. The fire dragon only appeared as a shadow in a column of flame, and had glowing red triangles on its arms. The lightning dragon was a yellow beast with blue electricity running across its skin and eyes that are a metalic, stormy grey. However, none of this information told Kec'ka what to do if she actually ENCOUNTERED one. They were stuff of legend...
Wait. She had an idea. She needed to be with one of them when... Yes... And... Oh yes. She smiled. It was time to strike up some friendships. You see, Kec'ka has expert manipulation skills. She knew that if she could control, say, one of these dragon spirits, the other Gorgons would practically scramble to do what she wanted. If she could have power over what they feared... YES! She walked over to Sean, and gave him a charming smile. She had a feeling he'd be more receptive than the other one, so here goes nothing!
"Hey there sweety!" she said. "Thanks, like, for rescuing us. We were going to just take a little loop around, but say, we'll, like, go wherever you're going! I know that I'd like a little adventure, especially with such brave men by my side!" she said with a giggle. Should she use magic? She debated it in her mind, but decided only to if he wasn't being receptive- bt she could just tell he was dying for girls, like all the other men here. She had seen him staring at her butt. "So, where are you from? I'm from, like, Lit'tem, but that's like a very long ways away!" She risked using her real planet name because Sean would have never heard of it. Even if, by random chance, some guy here had heard of the Gorgons, Gorgons never tell anyone their planet's name, so yeah. She gave a grin to Sean. The guy, he'd never figure out her true motive. (Boys were more of idiots than her crew... But, like, twenty times more fun to toy with.)
