Riley is a strong minded individuale with a big heart, and lack f tolerance for stupid people. She is young, but acts at least five years older, and loves reading new things. Determined and protective she has a thing for defending others, and besides knowing some random martial arts and being a generally healthy 15 year old has no means to actually defend the defenseless. Her skills are strong in communication and information, having learned how to navigate the internet with a simple thought and type without actually touching the keyboard, of course she pretends to do it... Her views on most people make her awkward around those of her age, viewing all her peers as stupid cattle to be ignored... This passionate young woman needs some love. Be it in the form of some very good friends, or true love.

Rai wouldn't mind being on this list somewhere, so long as you can get past his ridiculous hair XD He would rather not be in the Distastes section, as he needs some real friends first before he goes about making enemies. As of now, he is unaware of his ability, Empathic mimicry: Rai's DNA automatically resequences itself to mimic the abilities of those around him; if a mutant within a certain distance can fly, he can fly. Simple as that. He's 18 and a senior in high school.

Im not too picky. xD Whatever character works, whenever works. xD As long as I get a chance to play her, I'm happy. Though characters with opposing personalities, or similar personalities would prolly be some of the most fun. Whatever suit's y'alls fancy!! Including those of ya who've yet to plot! Toss some ideas at me and we can totally go from there.

Well, for Eluard, I have a couple of threads you could join:

This one - but she'd have to be injured somehow.

Or this one - It was meant for another character but I don't know if he's coming back so I can just change the tag. Your character could be walking by and she would react however appropriate for her?

Then again, if neither of those works for you, maybe your character could have heard (from one of Eluard's associate's thoughts or something) about a person who is seeking mutants and who has a safehouse for them as well as plans to make the world a better and more welcoming place for them? If she would be interested in seeking someone like that out for whatever reason.

I can offer Kaien as well. Maybe she could be in the middle of eavesdropping on someone's thoughts or looking through some information on the internet and when he comes within proximity she would find her powers suddenly gone and act noticeably surprised (if he can notice he'll probably make a remark about it to her).

Or she could be the one getting attacked and see what he does if he comes around. I suppose he would be an annoying presence to her (I think) because she wouldn't be able to rely on knowing his intentions by means of thoughts browsing.

Well, the firs one wouldn't quite work as she isn't sposed to be hurt anytime soon... >.> That could change but. I think the second thread has some of the most possibilities, as she is very into defending others. Specially if she knows that the thugs have weapons, and that Eluard doesn't, she could come roaring in with some random crap as she might be wont to do... <.<

Of course, as twas said she could possibly have figured out that there is that someone searching for folks like her to protect them... And that could also play into any other thread she has with him, or even the second one if we wanted to go that way.

I believe that any thread with Kaien would be interesting. She's had her abilities for a little over two years now, has gotten accustomed to them, and while she wont have a conversation with someone's thoughts, she's used to knowing everything they could possibly say or do. Being brought back to that human like sense could be useful for her, but the original reaction would be funny as hell. Especially since Kaien is an older male, she could probably become rather infatuated... >.> He isn't quite old enough for her to take him seriously though so. xD

On any note, I'd planned to have a thread with her getting school supplies, and the possibility of running into either Kaien or Eluard is good with that idea. Though if I do hop in on the second thread you linked she would probably have come from her school shopping and potentially be using her new school supplies as a beat-stick type thing... >.> Scissors and metallic rulers hurt.

Either way, I have a couple ideas, we could do two different threads and she could hop into the second one you posted. The more the merrier, and it would be hilarious in both. (She's kinda short in my eyes so her trying to defend someone who's taller than she is... And older... >.> Funneh stuff.)

On another side note though... While Riley knows some random self defense, she could probably use a teacher, which gives us some possibilities with Kara. xD Just as a thought.

Both sound fun to me too! Lawl @her not taking Kaien seriously due to his age, if he ever catches that attitude he'll likely start calling her "Squirt" to remind her she's the kid, hahaha. Actually, depending on how the ineraction goes he might call her that anyway.

So I'll expect your post in Eluard's fight thread and will you start the one for Kaien or should I?

Edit: Kara teaching her how to fight sounds awesome as well! Let's have the first two threads and see how they go before we go for that as well?

She would totally write him off as being stupid once/if he starts calling her 'squirt'. Her logic behind that is unless your 20 years older, you don't get to be all old person on her. xD Cause she's just that way. xD

I can start if you'd like, but I can also reply if ya' really want to start a thread. xD I'd think that the thread between Kaien and Riley would be before the one with Eluard, if I have her using new school supplies as a weapon of mass headacheyness...

Well, the moments don't have to be on the same day, so before or after, whichever you prefer. I doubt anything really impactful would happen in one of them that would change your behavior with her in the other.

We'll just have to have the threads and see how they react to each other. ;-)

Since you already have to reply to the made thread, I'll go ahead and create the one for Kaien as well. It'll be up soonish!

I can't really see how Cassidy would come into contact with Riley, other than being the Handler on the comms for DNCS officials trying to track Riley down. I'd imagine that wouldn't be happening for a while, but if it did come to that, it could probably be an interesting thing if Riley tapped into the comms, overran them, and ended up talking to Cass one-on-one. That's just future speculation, though, haha.

With Leann, I believe her age puts her right in the wheelhouse for Riley to ignore her? LoL. Lee's kinda indisposed at the moment, anyway, but the two might become acquainted in the future, simply due to a mutual connection to Eluard.

Miriam, on the other hand, would be quite interested in Riley's abilities, should Riley ever give "Guardian" a reason to key in on her. I'm not sure if you read my "epically long" (according to Grim) profile for her, or her plot page, but "technical expertise", especially when it comes to the idea of network security, is something Miri and her organization are sorely in need of in the very near future. I think she'd initially have an issue with the idea of recruiting a 15-year old to a position of power within the "Guardian" organization, but skills and abilities tend to be more important than age... sometimes. Haha. It's sort of futureworks thinking for all 3 of my characters with regards to Riley, and I imagine Miri'd have a hard time selling Riley on the idea of working with "Guardian" anyway... but I thought I ought to post my ramblings here, instead of "always meaning to" and rarely getting to posting in other people's plot pages. LoL.

O.O I was actually thinking along the same lines for Riley with Miriam... And the "Guardian" stuff....... Like. Seriously. >.> My biggest thing and why I haven't suggested it yet is the age! xD I did read pretty much all your app for her... Three times. xD I skimmed over some of it the second and third times, but. xD (It was incredibly long but well done!)

Not sure on the others, just yet. xD I'll take a look at them when I get the chance though. I don't much think that her RPing with Cassidy would be the best option for her safety... But you know. I could be feeling sadistic and stuff one day!! xD

>_>;; LoL. Like I told Grim, once upon a time my profiles were "short" when they were 14 pages in MS Word. n_n; Miri's was only 8. Haha... Going through pharmacy school pretty much killed my writing for a while, though, so maybe that accounts for the "relative brevity."

Anyway, take your time with looking over my characters. Like I was saying, I suspect interaction potential for them will be a product of developments as we all go along, rather than anything "right now." As for your commentary about Cassidy, she actually donates money to the pro-mutant side of "Guardian", and has some sympathetic urges towards mutants that aren't directly hostile, despite working for the DNCS. Her character account is even colored human pink, because of her potential for betraying her employer... although with Cry and Fate M.I.A, I'm not so sure how or if that would come to fruition now, so I might, for continuity's sake, tell Grim to turn her DNCS green. LoL.

As for the "Guardian" situation as relates to Miri/Riley, the first hurdle, I suppose is having them meet. I'd say something along the lines of Riley infiltrating the "network", but... Miriam, herself, isn't really equipped to identify and "chase" something like that, which is one reason why she'd be interested in Riley's ability. e_e So that's sort of a no-win situation for Miriam herself, although it could lead to Riley attempting to contact one of the "faces" of Guardian and lead to an arranged meeting of some sort. Seeing as how a minor wouldn't be allowed into "The Palace" (barring a very, very good forged ID, I suppose), I'd imagine the arranged meeting would have to take place elsewhere.

Alternatively, Miriam will be attending University, so if Riley has any reason to be on the college campus, she might notice Miri there. Key points for initial notice would probably be dress (either overly professional business suit-style, or evening gown or ballroom gown style... mostly out of place compared to the kids from the dorms going to class in their pajamas or street clothes) and the fact that she tends to carry a rapier on her hip. e_e; And, since Riley can read thoughts and/or electronic devices, she might be apt to glean some information regarding Miriam's identity as the leader of "Guardian" from her thoughts or her iPad or cell phone, if she happens to be conducting any ... less-essential business through those devices while on-campus.

Alternatively-alternatively (lol), Miri shall also be in the habit of seeking out trouble during late night hours, when she isn't entertaining guests at "The Palace." Similar, perhaps, to the Riley/Eluard meeting, there could be potential for an interaction there.

The ongoing theme here, though, is... Miriam doesn't really have the ability to identify Riley's power on her own. Additionally, like with Kaien, visibly identifying Riley's power is difficult simply on base, so it wouldn't be something any of the "Guardian" information gathering agents would be apt to become aware of, unless Riley were to truly try and bring attention to herself using her power. LoL. It's so much easier to identify the mutants tossing out bolts of lightning (Leann) and such.

We can always work things out here, and figure out what would be the best way for them (Any of them) to meet. Definitely take our time about it too. I can see if I cant figure out some good nifty ideas for Miriam and Riley running into each other at some later point. (I will take a look at Cassidy and Leann's app's here in the next couple days when I'm not at school. xD)

Here in a few posts mayhaps, after some more things happen (or don't happen) with Norbex's characters, we can see where things stand/lie.

I'm really just excited to be back into the RP gig and actually posting and having muse. xD
