Her feet softly sank into the warm sand, burying her toes in the loose soil with each step taken by the sapphire topped girl. After walking several meters the young woman stopped her motions, directing her gaze at the golden sun that slowly but steadily disappeared behind wavering waves. Being caressed by the agreeable breeze coming from the ocean, Claire was consumed by a feeling of harmony and security. The echoing sound of crashing waves filled the beach area, accompanied by a few, stray sea gull calls. Enjoying the peaceful environment, the calming symphony slowly began to fade away and she suddenly felt like falling. Ripped out off her dream by the resounding alarm clock playing one of her favorite songs, the mutant raised her head, grabbed one of her pillows from beneath the same and put it on top of her face; a last, desperate attempt of trying to ignore the echoing alarm. Remaining motionless for several minutes she then finally gave in to the relentless clock by pulling the soft cushion away from her face, allowing her weary, half opened spheres to behold the sight of her bedroom's ceiling, drenched in a bright yellow thanks to a nearby neon sign.
Her right hand slowly reached out for the still roistering device, its fingertips blindly scanning the table's surface, searching for the one button that would once again engulf her room in a veil of silence. Arriving at their destination her slender fingers quickly silenced the machine, before then retreating from the cold, wooden surface, in order to gently rub the remains of sleep out off her watery orbs. Adjusting to the room's brightness the mirrors of her very soul kept rushing within their opaque, fibrous layers, scanning the room, searching for something even unknown to herself. Attempting to jump out off her bed, one of her feet got caught in soft, twisted mass, known as blanket, causing her to drop out of bed headfirst. Hitting the floor, a stream of inscrutable curses escaped her soft lips, before she then sat up, freeing her ensnared foot. Getting upon her she a loud yawn forced its way out of her, breaking the silence dominating her small apartment. Peering at the alarm clock's display Claire made sure that the desire of staying in bed hadn't cost her too much time.
After taking a quick, yet refreshing shower the bluenette quickly got herself ready for work. Choosing a, in her eyes, rather unobtrusive attire consisting of an innocently white top and a checkered short skirt, carrying shades of ebony and ivory, she quickly slipped into her beloved chucks. Usually having a fondness for studded belts, she tonight decided to leave them at home. Quickly grabbing a toast, as well as her beloved indigo colored hoodie on her way outside, she slammed the door shut behind her, rushing down the stairs in order to get on the streets below. The night air was filled with reams of scents that mixed with each other creating the city's unmistakable smell. The teenager had just passed a few streets, when a new, more natural odor filled the air, announcing what the almost pitch-black empyrean had already predicted when she had laid down in order to get some rest. Being lucky for once Claire managed to reach a small canopy before the heavenly downpour reached the ground.
Standing beneath the roof leaning against a wall, she kept gazing at the dense cloth of raindrops that seemed to swallow the sounds of the surrounding area. Wrapping her fair skin into the warmth of her hoodie, she suddenly startled as the remnants of agitated voices violently broke through the harsh ripple.

He'd been running for a long time. He didn't keep track of things: date, time, it all didn't matter to him. He could make anything he wanted, but he couldn't make freedom. He shivered. It was cold tonight, something he hadn't prepared for. Even in his wool and leather jacket he couldn't help his teeth from chattering. He stepped in a puddle, the moist liquid soaking into his shoes, chilling him to the core. He cursed the puddle, cursed the weather, and louder then both of them, cursed his luck. He knew he could fix his situation immediately, but other things in this world prevented him from doing that. Fugitive. The word disgusted him. A bit of anger swelled up in him, and it immediately ceased. "Whew." He said to himself sighing. He just needed to chill out. It was good that it was foggy, or someone might have seen something as he materialized large, over ear headphones around his neck, plugging in the audio cable into his phone. Soothing, rhythmic beats began to play at a mild volume, his eyes closed, his head bobbing to the beat. Somehow, he smiled. He enjoyed the smaller things in life and this was no different. He shivered a bit, and pulled his jacket closer.
Shinsuke was new to this city. It has such a high population it's easy for him to get lost in crowds and not have to worry about people looking for him. Not that he was identifiable by face anymore, no, the only discerning feature that could be linked to his past is the black 3451 under his right ear. He brushed his hair to the side and looked into the night sky, being greeted by the sensation of tiny, cold raindrops on his brow. He liked the rain, just not when it was so damn cold. He quickly transmuted the air in and around his hand into an oversized umbrella and opened it, shielding himself from the tears of the heavens. He walked onwards, humming a simple tune to the beat of his music, relaxed. He debated on getting an apartment here, as money was no real problem to him, but he wanted to scope out the area and see who lived around here before he decided to make a large decision like this.
So lost in his music he almost didn't notice the young girl who looked to be his age trying to find shelter from this downpour. He stopped in front of her and thought about it, deciding he did need to meet the locals. He slowly, and deliberately walked over to her, creating another umbrella in his free hand. He outstretched his hand, handing her the umbrella.
"Hey there, I'm Shin."
His facial expression remained emotionless as he kept his hand stretched towards her, his beats booming in the background.
OOC: Be gentle on me....just getting back into this.

Waiting beneath the sheltering canopy her gentle spheres kept staring at the rain forcing its way down to earth without remorse. Sure, she could have changed the weather by forcing the clouds away, but something like that would only unnecessarily strain her body and might grant others the possibility of recognizing her as a mutant, which obviously wasn't in her interest. Last time she had used her powers in broad daylight she had been found out by Eluard, who fortunately was a mutant as well. Standing there without moving the slightest bit, Claire didn't even want to imagine what might have happened if the person had been a member of the government instead of a fellow mutant. Even the sole thought of having to deal with the government caused her stomach to tighten painfully. Taking a deep breath she cast the unpleasant thoughts aside, replacing it with silent rants about the lousy weather. The sight of a pair of legs entering her field of vision then caused her to raise her gaze in order to look at the person that had just stopped only a few meters away, before then approaching her.
Looking at the young, amber topped boy enjoying the shelter of an umbrella, she wondered why he suddenly had changed his course and was now walking straight towards her. Observing his motions as he approached her, the azure haired female kept wondering what he was going to do once he had reached her. Sure, it wasn't like he had psychopathic serial killer written all over his face, but girls like her had to be wary, no matter if they were mutants or not. The sudden appearance of a second umbrella in his free hand, caused her spheres to widen in surprise. She hadn't expected to meet another mutant, but was more surprised to see how openly the stranger used his ability, apparently not afraid of being found out by the government. Being offered the newly created item his voice resounded, geeting her and introducing him as shin. Not quite sure what she was supposed to think of his careless action, her face dispalyed a rather confused expression. "Are you sure you should make use of your ability like that? There are people that detest mutants and won't hesitate to inform the government, you know?"
Saying this with a teasing voice she raised the umbrella up, pointing at it with her free hand. The stranger that had just introduced himself as Shin really could be happy to have encountered her, a fellow ability wielder, instead of some scared and fanatic supporter of the government. Having simply seen the item appear from out of nowhere, the bluenette was unable to say what kind of power Shin exactly possessed, but she knew that this definitely wasn't the place for a proper conversation. Quickly leaving the shelte granted by the small roof, Claire swang the umbrella open, hiding her slender frame beneath it. Smiling brightly at the male in front of her, her delicate face now displayed a bright smile. "Nice to meet you, Shin. You can call me Claire." Her voice faded for a brief moment, before she then contiued to speak. "Would you like to accompany me?" Her voice sounded soft and cheerful while her reassuring smile tried to convince him that she didn't intend to harm him.
Her brilliant spheres kept resting upon the brown haired male, hoping that she had been the only one to witness him using his abilites, otherwise things would become quite complicated.
[OOC: Sorry for this crappy reply >.<]

Shinsuke blinked at her and frowned when she mentioned the careless use of his powers. He hadn't thought about it too much really, since he was already a marked man. But he didn't want to get someone else in trouble, so he took it to heart. Anyways, he flashed another smile at her and said, "I've already had my run in with the government. They can't do anything to me anymore." He wondered if she was a mutant like him too. It would be even better if she was. His experience with humans were not all too pleasing. He spent a long time on the road growing up, and he is rather out of touch with the world's events and the way people were supposed to act. He hadn't met much mutants, mainly people. Hateful people that disliked him just because of what he was. He didn't do anything wrong, but they still hated him and it confused him. He had hidden his abilities around people and their demeanor to him was the complete opposite of before, so he began to use them less and less.
He wondered that if she was like him, what she could do. He heard that no two powers were exactly the same and it greatly interested him to see other powers in action, so he asked quietly, almost timidly, "Are you like me?" He had some sort of feeling that she was. She seemed rather calm when he displayed his ability in front of him anyways.
He had only had really spoken to one mutant in detail in his life. That was when he was younger, in that laboratory. He never saw the boy after he escaped, he assumed him dead.
Shinsuke liked the sound of her name. Claire. He nodded slightly at her request and stepped back, his arm outstretched. "Lead the way Claire. I'm kind of new here myself." He was genuinely smiling, something he hadn't done in a long time. It felt good to be able to be himself and not get attacked or yelled at for it.
OOC: Really crap post. I'm tired. :/ It'll be better next time.
